All delivery costs will be detailed in the shopping cart at point of check out and reflect the delivery rates that we get charged by the delivery carriers that we use based on the volume of the furniture in cubic metres.  There may be some occasions where we can offer better delivery rates if you live within 30 miles or so of our warehouse in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire so please ask if you are local to us.  You are also welcome to collect anything you buy from us to avoid paying any delivery charges. 

A delivery surcharge may be added to Northern Scotland, Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland, Eire, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man.  Please email us details of your full address along with the items that you are interested in for an accurate delivery quote to these locations.

We use several companies for delivery depending on the size and distance for the orders but our preferred carrier for our larger more bulky oak dining sets is DSV.  We can trust DSV to get your furniture to you in one piece and we have also negotiated special rates because of the large volumes of business that we now put thorugh them for the large dining furniture items that we sell.  Most of the furniture that we sell is very large and bulky which means that delivery is not cheap unfortunately.  We prefer to charge a fixed delivery charge rather than increase are selling prices to offset the delivery charges.  Other retailer may offer free delivery or much cheaper delivery but we please ask you to consider the total price of the items including delivery when shopping around and comparing prices and also consider that we offer a premium product in most cases.

The DSV delivery service that we use for our dining table and chair sets includes delivery to any ground floor room of your choice as long as there is clear access to get the goods into the desired room.  This is a 2 man service and customers are not expected to have to help with the delivery of their furniture.  If a delivery driver ever asks you to help with the delivery please call us immediately on 01889 560999 as this shouldn't be happening.

We don't offer a furniture assembly service at the moment unfortunately as we prefer to offer the very best price for delivery and an assembly service would mean additional costs which we wish to try and avoid.  This also means that the driver often wont be able to take away any of the packaging as the furniture is likely to be boxed still when the driver leaves and rubbish removal is not part of our contract with DSV for the delivery service that we offer to our furniture customers.  On the rare occasion that an item of furniture is damaged it much easier to return the furniture to us in the original packaging so please inspect your furniture carefully before disposing of the packaging.

We have recently negotiated very competitive delivery rates for our large bulky furniture items to countries in mainland Europe such as France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Spain and Italy.  If you want us to quote you for delivery to one of these or another mainland Europe address then please email us details of the exact items you are considering and your full address and we will get back to you with a price within 48hrs.  To keep the cost of this service to a minimum in these further afield locations we ask that you try and get someone to help to take the furniture from the lorry or we can quote you extra for delivery to your front door with a 2 man service.
